TRAINING FACILITIES: UE CORNELLÀ RESERVE

UE Cornellà was founded in 1951 and is one of the most promising clubs in Europe. The club’s first team competes in the Spanish 2nd division and the Academy is renowned worldwide by the large number of professional players that have formed in the past years. UE Cornellà is one of the top 10 soccer academies in Spain. in the last 5 years, more than 90 players have been transferred from UE Cornellà to professional clubs such as Arsenal, FC Barcelona, Lazio, Real Madrid, and many more.

As there is a big gap between the First Team and the Academy of UE Cornellà, the club set up an agreement relation with a local club to be his RESERVE team. This agreement provides players of the Academy to continue in the club and at the same time integrate new talented ones. All this is perfect for International football players to follow a real PRO PRE-SEASON within a big Spanish club-like UE Cornellà of Barcelona.

During the PRE-SEASON players will be evaluated by the coaches of UE Cornellà and by the International Sports Director of the club in order to find new talented players to join the team

Methodology 


WOSPAC Pro Soccer Camp offers the player the opportunity to develop technical and tactical skills through soccer training where the cognitive and decision-making are present as essential elements for the improvement of the player.

This football training methodology ignores the analytical exercises and seeks to improve the player not only on a technical level but also on physical, tactical, and decision-making levels exposing the player to real game situations considering the tandem learning-fun.

This football camp is sporting, educational and recreational, and the participants also learn the techniques of Catalan football, team training concepts, practicing a new language, and enjoy the fantastic leisure activities that Barcelona city offers, in order to complement their unique and exciting experience.

WORKING ASPECTS   

In view of the real game situations and decision-making are the most important aspects that will help the young player progression in WOSPAC PRESEASON Soccer Camp, we will work with the following technical and tactical skills

#1 Masters the basics of the offensive and defensive system

#2 Execute the right movements depending on game necessities

#3 Effective decision-making exercises

#4 Exercices based on numerical inferiority and numerical superiority situations

#5 Amplify breadth and depth of playing space during offensive situations

#6 Position themselves accordingly in a different  game situation

#7 Exercises based on the real game situation

Football trials with Albert Banaiges 

WOSPAC football academy also offers players to take part in the football trials under the supervision of Albert Benaiges.

Albert Benaiges has been the coach of players like Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandez, Andrés Iniesta, Gerard Piqué, Carles Puyol, Cesc Fabregas, Mikel Arteta, and many more. Albert has been working his last 30 years with football players around the world. So he is the right person to evaluate the skills of the young players and offer his opinion.  

Participation in football, tryouts cost 90€ for 1 week (or 180 Euro per 2-week camp). It is included 3-morning training sessions with WOSPAC, 3-afternoon training sessions with UE Cornellà or Local Barcelona Club, Clothes to train and Invitation
