Tryout Overview

As a distinguished member of the Premier League, known as the most competitive football league globally, the West Ham United Academy sets rigorous standards for all its players. During this tryout, be prepared to meet those expectations head-on. Our comprehensive High-Performance approach fuses cutting-edge sports science and technology with Premier League-level training techniques, delivering an intensive program designed to evaluate and enhance the skills of each participant.

This exceptional training experience is complemented by various academic pathways, allowing you to balance your educational pursuits with your soccer ambitions. Whether you aim to attend a university in the UK, explore college opportunities in the US on a soccer scholarship, or advance your professional sports career—both on and off the pitch—this program is tailored to support your goals.

Who Can Participate?

We invite both male and female athletes aged 16 to 19 to join us in this transformative experience. The Academy of Football offers three annual intakes: September, January, and April. Additionally, you will have the chance to enrich your training through professional FA qualifications, including Coaching and Talent Identification. Exceptional players in the clinic may even secure a scholarship pathway to the academy.
