Overview of the football academy

EduKick Football (Soccer) Academy is an elite Spanish football academy for international student-footballers. The academy is located in the Benalmadena (COSTA DEL SOL), with 320 days of sunshine each year, optimizing our player's ability to train on quality grass pitches daily.

We are accepting international footballers from 13-26 who are welcome to apply for one (1) month to full ten (10) month academic year courses. Academic options include our private International School for secondary education (grades 8-12). Courses are delivered in English. And Spanish Language Study at our affiliated Spanish language institute for players 16+.

During the annual program the players will be able to train with and participate in matches against 1st and 2nd division local Spanish teams.

Our sports platform allows players to use technological tools to visually understand their weaknesses and strengths, forming more intelligent players capable of making the best decision in a more competitive environment. We carry out evaluations of our players through our personalised reports and where we can analyze their technical-tactical abilities, skills, physical aspects, and discipline.

Pro training sessions

The Core of Edukick Spain Programs relies on the exclusive football training sessions that players enjoy 4 times per week. These pro training sessions under the guidance of a qualified coaching team are a unique opportunity for players to develop their football technique and acquire the capacity to play at a higher speed on a higher level.

Local Team Placement

All soccer academy players are placed upon a Spanish local team for an additional 2 or 3 training sessions per week.

Football Matches

Our students get the chance to play throughout the season on a competitive U18 7vs7 football league against other Spanish football teams.

This is an intense sports program oriented for participants who want to develop a professional football career.

Accommodation

Our exclusive residence for the players and staff of the Soccer Academy is strategically located in a safe and unbeatable location. Only a few minutes away from both the training grounds and the international school in the wonderful city of Benalmádena (Málaga).

Located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, 10 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from Malaga, Andalucia.

Training facilities

Our main training facility, Ramón Rico, is located 3 km from the Soccer Academy Residence. Providing all the needs to our players for their daily training sessions and activities. Additionally, we will be holding weekly training sessions in Sotogrande, which offers 25 natural grass pitches, one of the most exclusive locations in Spain!

Academic education

Our Academy believes that a balance between education and sport is essential for young players.

The International School San José offers the academic program for the International Baccalaureate course. This program enables students to pursue a quality education with an academic school that understands the needs of the sport. International School San José is a highly regarded boarding school for athletes and has experience in catering to their needs both academically and in the field of sport.

The IB module prepares students for university with an emphasis on a comprehensive education that promotes skills such as independence, time management, and self-study. Players not only progress in football but also in their personal growth through the 10-month program.

And for players 16+ that do not want (need to) to go to the high school, we offer courses on Spanish Language Study at our affiliated Spanish language institute
1. Airport pick up/drop off and transfers.

3. Three (3) meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
4. Education: Spanish or International High School, Spanish Language classes at affiliated Spanish Language Institute
5. Five (5)  morning football training sessions under the guidance of EduKick Spain Academy technical football staff
6. Placement to a local based Spanish football club team for two (2) or three (3) additional football training & weekend matches
7. Supervised Strength & Conditioning offered in 6-week modules throughout the course (two gym sessions per week).
8. Attend professional Spanish La Liga matches & lower-division Spanish pro matches (3 matches total).
9. Attend pro Spanish professional club training session (subject to availability).
10. EduKick Spain Training Kit & Leisure Wear package (Jersey, shorts, socks, tracksuit, training top, rain jacket, kit bag & MORE!).
11. All local transport between the residence & private school, football training and matches.
12. Full medical insurance.
13. 24/7 adult supervision, mentoring & welfare.
14. Two (2) reports per academic half-year (technical football and academic) & regular reporting & communication to parents through social media, newsletter, and email.
