The Everton Football College International Football Programme offers international student athletes a distinctive opportunity to pursue higher education while training and competing in football. Students enrolled in this program can work towards an undergraduate Honours or a postgraduate Master’s degree, all while representing Everton Football College, the official educational institution associated with Everton Football Club.
Founded in 2018, Everton Football College delivers exceptional academic and athletic prospects. The college boasts significant achievements, with 21 major league and cup titles secured over the past five years, alongside numerous successes in national and international tournaments. It has established a strong history of player development, with graduates progressing to professional football careers in the UK, Europe, Asia, and the USA.
Participants in the International programme, for athletes aged 18 and older, can benefit from a Premier League-level football experience combined with educational studies, thereby enabling them to pursue their aspirations both on and off the field.
Players in the International programme will compete in the National Football Youth League, a competitive league situated below professional academies in the UK. This platform allows them to face off against other professional clubs and their academies, facilitating player development and enhancing prospects for future opportunities in UK football. Everton Football College will conduct an entire ten-month English football season, supplemented by participation in cup competitions and international tournaments.
